Come on down to the University of South Carolina, on January 6, 2018 for our local kickoff. The schedule of events is:
~Team registration 8:00-8:30
~Workshops 8:30-9:45
~Break 9:45-10:15
~Welcome 10:15-10:30
~Kickoff Telecast 10:30-11:30


On November 20, 2017. Our robotics team had our first official meeting. We talked about what our team is about, fund raising ideas, and kickoff. Our local kickoff will be on January 6, 2018 ; at the University of South Carolina, in their Swearing-en Engineering Center.


Yay!!! Its now our seventh year and our robotics team is still working hard. We are cleaning up and building robots in our robotics class so our members can be prepared for the upcoming robotics season. We are done with the SCRIW event for this year.


And most of all this year we are starting a robotics class so all of our members can learn how to program, build, and work together and build a great team.

Last robotics season the game was Aerial Assist !! Team 3976 had lost some great members to college, but we still have some really good talent left here to have another successful year.  As we had work on different team ideas and build ideas, we create a hexagonal robot. As our 7th year had passed in the FIRST Robotics Competition, we saw how our students grow as individuals and team players. We were recognized as an award winning STEM / CATE program. So Good Luck to all you other teams.

News Update 

YAY!!!! we made it through another robotics season, and we are ready for another.

Our old robots are still work and now are part of our promotion, we went to the back to school bash and man was it fun playing with the robot and r-c cars and getting our name out there.


Our safety is great with new safety equipment and UL. We got all happy faces 


And we promise to keep up with our YouTube page this year so you can check us out every week to see where we are at, but no peeking on our robot
